Construction requirements for fireproof glass doors

(1) Fireproof doors are divided into two types: wooden and steel. The products must meet the fireproof function required by the plan and must be produced by the production unit approved by the industrial safety department.

Metal components are all arc welded, and the welds must not have defects such as unmelted, unwelded air holes, cracks and burn-through. After the steel frame is straightened, it should meet the standard regulations. The product should have a factory certificate and be checked with the drawings to see if it meets the planning regulations.

(2) The fire door installation should be flush with the wall in the direction of the door leaf opening.

(3) The installation of wooden fireproof door frames and leaves is the same as that of wooden door frames and leaves.

(4) The fire door should be about 20mm smaller than the size of the equipment opening. The door frame should be firmly connected to the wall. The empty space should be filled with heat-resistant materials. The equipment should be straight and avoid sawing. If sawing is unavoidable, the sawn surface should be painted with fire-retardant paint. After the hardware parts of the equipment are cut, the cut parts should be painted with fire-retardant paint. The fire door and the wall are connected with expansion bolts. If wooden bricks are used, they should be fireproofed. The fire door should be equipped with a door closer.

(5) When the fire door leaf of the reinforced concrete door frame is installed in the cutout of the door frame, the gap around the leaf and the frame should be adjusted first to make the door leaf straight. The upper and lower door shafts should be on the same vertical line. When welding with the embedded iron of the door frame, the position should be corrected to avoid displacement and deformation. The upper and lower latches, bolts, and handles should be installed in the right position and welded after trial installation. After the equipment is completed, multiple switch tests should be carried out. After passing the inspection, the door frames can be painted and the hardware parts can be coated with fire retardant paint.
